Dylan Gossett's Ramblin' is out now on Big Loud Texas and Mercury Records. Chris recorded it and did the immersive mix.

It was tracked at Arlyn Studios and Orb Studios in Austin, where Chris brought his own Dante-networked Neve preamps and set them out on the floor with the band. Vocal overdubs were done at Power Station in New York.

It follows Westward, which Chris also recorded and mixed. Songs this spare live or die on the voice and the guitar, so the job was to capture them honestly and leave room around them. In immersive, that room is the point: the song stays in front of you, and the space opens up around it.
