Chris Bell is a music recording engineer, mixing engineer and producer based in Texas, with a career spanning over 32 years. Raised in the Lone Star State, Chris developed a love for music at a young age, which led him to pursue a career in the industry.

Throughout his career, Chris has worked with a number of notable musicians from around the globe, including The Eagles, Erykah Badu, Don Henley, Luther Dickinson, Jim Lauderdale, The Polyphonic Spree, Peter Gabriel, Death in Vegas, Earth Wind and Fire, Destiny’s Child, Kelly Rowland,  Neville/Jacobs featuring Ivan Neville and Cris Jacobs, as well as sessions with U2, Dave Mathews and Jakob Dylan.

Recently, Chris was featured on Apple Music, which showcased some of his best work. The feature highlighted his unique approach to mixing and production, which has helped him create some of the most memorable and impactful songs in recent years.

In addition to his work as an engineer, Chris has also mixes music in Dolby Atmos, a revolutionary surround sound technology that creates a more immersive listening experience. Chris's expertise in Dolby Atmos has helped him to create powerful, dynamic mixes that transport listeners into the heart of the music.

Chris has been an active member of The Recording Academy, the organization responsible for the annual Grammy Awards, for over 20 years. He has served on various committees and has been involved in the organization's initiatives to promote and recognize excellence in music.
